Contacts Determine Quality
In the switch industry, contact material has a direct impact on switch performance and lifespan. As a professional switch manufacturer, Yueqing Jixin Electronics Co., Ltd. always prioritizes transparency and quality. Currently, we offer switch contact materials primarily in copper, red copper, and silver, meeting the performance and cost requirements of various customers.
1. Copper Contacts: An Economical and Practical Choice
Copper contacts are one of the most widely used basic contact materials on the market. They offer excellent conductivity and mechanical strength, providing stable performance in most common applications. Our copper material, after rigorous processing, is suitable for low-voltage, low-frequency household appliances or general-purpose switches. It offers a high cost-effectiveness and is an ideal option for cost-conscious users.
However, it should be noted that ordinary copper easily oxidizes in air, potentially leading to poor contact after prolonged use. Jixin Electronics can provide customers with surface coatings (such as tin plating or silver plating) to enhance its oxidation resistance.
2. Red Copper Contacts: High Purity and More Stable Conductivity
Compared to ordinary copper, red copper (also known as red copper) is purer, with a copper content exceeding 99.9%, offering stronger conductivity and improved ductility. We primarily use this material in micro switches, pushbutton switches, and rocker switches, which require higher conductivity. It is particularly well-suited for applications requiring stable power flow and frequent actuation.
Although red copper costs slightly more than ordinary copper, it offers a longer lifespan, lower resistance, and reduced heat loss, making it a reliable choice for high-performance products.
3. Silver Contacts: The First Choice for High-End Products
Silver contacts are widely used in high-end switches. Silver has the highest conductivity of all metals, offering fast switching response and extremely low contact resistance, significantly reducing heat generation and power loss. Our silver contacts are primarily used in systems with high electrical performance requirements, such as industrial automation equipment and power control panels.
In addition, to address silver's susceptibility to sulfidation, we offer silver alloy contacts (such as silver-nickel and silver-tin oxide) to enhance arc and corrosion resistance, further extending switch life and enhancing operational stability.
Jixin Electronics understands that every contact plays a crucial role in product quality and user experience. Therefore, we offer copper, red copper, and silver materials to meet the full range of application needs, from economical to high-performance. Whether you're looking for cost-effective products or high-quality switch solutions, Jixin Electronics offers reliable materials and technical support.
