1.MOMENTARY PUSH BUTTON
A Momentary push button switch is a switch that can be restored to its original state when released after being pressed. It is also called an automatic recovery switch . In control circuits, it is usually used to start and stop controllers or actuators. The basic structure of the self-resetting push button switch includes buttons, elastic sheets, contacts and fixed plates. Pressing the button causes the elastic piece to bend, causing the contact to contact the fixed plate and powering on; after releasing the button, the elastic piece rebounds, the contact and the fixed plate lose contact, and the power is cut off.
Because the switch will automatically return to its original state after the button is released, it is also called a "momentary switch".
2.LATCHING PUSH BUTTON
A Latching switch refers to a switch that needs to be pressed again after pressing the switch to return to its original state. In control circuits, it is usually used to control the selection and switching of circuits or devices. The basic structure of a self-locking switch includes buttons, springs, contacts and locking plates. Press the button to connect the contacts and power on; press the button again to compress the spring, release the lock plate, open the contacts and cut off the power. Because it requires two presses of the button to return to its original state, it is also called a "two-state switch."

3. APPLICATION
The applicable scenarios of Momentary button switches and Latching switches are different. Momentary push button switches are usually used for start and stop control, such as doorbell ; Latching switches are usually used for selection and switching control, such as switching circuits. During use, care should be taken to ensure the normal operation of the switch and to avoid excessive use that may lead to switch failure. At the same time, you should pay attention to safety issues, use switches that comply with standards, and ensure that the circuit is connected correctly.
