Principle of rocker switch

The working principle of the rocker switch is relatively simple. Once the power switch is pushed from ON to OFF to ON, the twisting spring exercise in the power switch will skew the active contact point, and then create an electrical connection grounding according to the exported contact point.


The power switch consists of two key components, an actuator and a set of contact points. The actuator in the power switch moves to increase the force to the contact point to open and close the power switch, while the contact point group will determine whether the power switch is set as on/off. Here, a group of contact points in the power switch allows the flow of electricity when the power switch is set to the ON contact point, and cuts off the current when the power switch is turned to the off position.


Once this power switch is turned on, the contact point will be turned off. So at this point, the contact points are touched to allow the current flow between them. Similarly, once the same power switch is turned off, the contact point will be pulled to the open position. Once this contact point is in the open position, they will not touch each other, so there is no current flow between them.

1. Look at the casing

Therefore, if the power switch trips the air leakage switch, it is caused by the cable sheath of the zero line of the switch. The damaged section can be cut off and wired from the beginning. Pay attention to ensure the insulation performance. It may also be that there is a short circuit fault in the display lamp pin, so you can start wiring from the beginning.
