1.What is Micro Switch ?

Micro switch is a type of switch that is commonly used in electronic devices. Only a small amount of force is required to operate a micro switch to make the switch function. Micro switches are characterized by ease of installation, long life, and resistance to damage. It is also not prone to problems such as false triggering, reset, and power outage. As a high sensitivity switch, it is often used in applications that require frequent opening and closing.

2.What is the working Principle ?

Working Principle:Micro switch have static and dynamic states. In the static state, a mechanical spring holds the contacts open. When pressed, an audible sound is emitted and the internal control lever is lifted to move the contacts to the correct position for quick closure. When the external force disappears, the switch will be in dynamic state. The contact will reset quickly for opening and closing.

3.Some Precautions in use.

Maintenance of micro switch is very important, and proper maintenance can extend the service life of the switch. The following are ways to maintain micro switch:

1)Clean the micro switch regularly. External impurities can clog or crush the internal structure of the micro switch and cause it to malfunction. Therefore, the external surfaces of the micro switch should be cleaned regularly with non-acidic and organic solvents. When cleaning the interior, you can wipe it with a clean, damp cloth and maintain it by applying oil.

2).Periodic Inspection.  First check the contact part of the micro switch to make sure it is working properly. Then check whether the limit distance of the switch is within the range and whether the strength and speed of the touch are normal. Observe the external power supply for any damage. Check that the voltage and current of the circuit are stable.

   3).Avoid overloading

Once the micro switch is overloaded and frequently damaged, it will lead to problems such as deformation of the micro switch contacts and wear-resistant coating flakes, etc. Regularly check whether the damage is caused by repeated use in order to safeguard the micro switch's performance for a long period of time.
