WHAT IS METAL BUTTON?

Metal button is a common electronic device component made of metal material. He has waterproof, dustproof, explosion-proof and other functions, widely used in electronics, machinery, automotive and other industries. Metal button can be according to different occasions, the use of different metal materials shell, such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy and so on.

What is the principle of using metal push buttons?

The principle of using metal push buttons involves a number of aspects, including elastic contact mechanisms, current path changes, electromagnetic induction principles, material conductivity, and mechanical linkage structures. These principles will be introduced one by one below.

      1.Elastic contact mechanisms

The central part of a metal push button is the contact, which usually consists of two pieces of metal. When the button is pressed, the distance between the two contacts is shortened so that an electrical connection is formed between them. This connection is achieved by the button's elastic contact mechanism, i.e. the button is able to return to its original shape after being pressed, ensuring a stable contact between the contacts.

      2.current path changes

The pressing and releasing of a metal button changes the state of the current pathway. When the button is not pressed, the current path may be open, and when the button is pressed, the path closes and current is able to flow. This change makes the push button a key component of the control circuit, capable of controlling the on/off state of the device.

      3.electromagnetic induction principles

The principle of electromagnetic induction plays a role in certain metal buttons. For example, when a button is pressed, a change in the magnetic field may occur, which induces an electric potential. This induced electromotive force can further control the operating state of other circuit components.

      4.material conductivity

The electrical conductivity of metal push buttons depends on the metal material used. Metallic materials with good conductivity, such as copper and silver, ensure that the current passes smoothly through the contacts, reducing resistance and heat loss. In addition, the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the material are also factors to consider when selecting metal materials.

      5.mechanical linkage structures

Metal push buttons are often combined with mechanically linked structures to achieve specific control functions. For example, in a door lock or car starting system, the push of a button may trigger a series of mechanical actions that enable operations such as unlocking a door or starting an engine.
